Ah, finally... the writing is coming along, if oddly. A Raine/Zelos one day, a Hermione/Neville the next? Egad. But it's one more of the request-drabbles down -
silverlocke980, it's belated, and it's a double-drabble but this one's yours. Hope you like it!
DRABBLE NINE: (for

She thought at first that the house-elves had been leaving her the hot chocolate; not too hot or strong, with three marshmallows floating on top, and was oddly flattered by their thoughtfulness. Hermione thought, then, that no one else would have guessed or paid enough attention to notice that she liked it.
One night when her Arithmancy scroll wasn’t holding her attention, however, the plunk of a mug on the table and a swishing sound alerted her to another’s presence. “Wait,” she called after the retreating student. “I mean, thanks…”
Turning, Neville smiled softly, taking in the circles under Hermione’s eyes and the bite marks on the end of her quill. “You should be sleeping,” he said, “but you won’t; not until you’re done. So I thought, since I was getting one …” Holding up his mug, Neville chuckled. “I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
“You didn’t. I was listening for you,” she replied. “…Join me? If you’d like, that is.” Hiding her smile as a surprised, delighted grin lit his face, Hermione gestured toward the couch. “I can’t promise I’ll be good company.”
“Nor I,” he yawned, settling in the opposite corner.
Tonight, it was enough to be noticed.
. . . finis. . .
And if curiosity moves you, the story that sounds like a Raine/Zelos but isn't, really, goes by Book of Days and... is quite possibly the most random thing I've ever written. Their potential for verbal sparring is too good to pass up on, so I didn't. ^_~ It's very much a "beginning" that begs to be developed, but the last time I developed, it turned into "...Believe," and while I love that story to pieces, the last thing I need is a ToS equivalent. Maybe I've just been reading too much Jane Austen recently? Oh, my.
Sabe, out.

Fixed and should be working now.
I won't be back in E-Town until the 6th, unfortunately. We'll have to wait until the 17th... and then, Audioslave! (how much do I owe you for the ticket, by the way?)
Best of luck with your room-cleaning! ^__^
You no longer owe me 20 bucks. (If you don't understand that, then read the first reply I gave you, on the post below this one).
And-!
As for music!
DON'T check out the Seymour battle music- it's not on any CD collection I can find, and it would only appeal to those with my sense of humor and my love of dance music (the ULTIMATE fight music- FF6 (III) has the same kind of idea, though with a much better, more subtle presentation). The Alanis, however, is great- "Irony" is also another good song.
Agree with you on Wallflowers, but "Bringing down the horse" holds a special place in my heart. Personally, "One Headlight" and "Sixth Avenue Heartache" are my favorites on that CD, and I tend towards singles anyway.
Am working on TOS, love! Love Colette already, which pisses me off, seeing as how I always hate angel types. (insert hating smiley here) Still, she's okay, as I see it, and the battle system is weird.
Still!

I'm glad I no longer owe you money, and I'm tickled that you're enjoying ToS. It looks like such a kid's game at the start (I remember watching the opening sequence and going: "...!?!") but it will get its hooks in to you, don't you worry. ^_~
And Colette, hmm? She's a sweetie, but her voice actor made me want to chuck her off of a tall building at times. Lloyd reminds me a lot of my brother, so I got a kick out of him, too. You'll get used to the battle system; it takes a while, but it too is addictive.
Lastly, it could have been I'm running on less sleep than usual, but what did you mean by: "You go to a lighter, less- oh, shall we say- heavy, version of the story?"
Cheers!
Also, the story takes a *different* perspective from how others (and I myself, honestly) would have seen it: I nice, almost sweet meeting between two people just talking. Not as angsty as I thought the idea of a subject would be, you have effectively turned it around into a nice, soft ending, right there.
Good work, Sabe!

I'm starting to think that the world has enough of staggering emotions without my help... Drama has its place - and with the right pair, can be just what they need. For example, quiet suits Yuffie and Reno like water does cats. Yet these two; it just fit... it was going to be something completely different, but one day, my room-mate made KD for lunch for me after a killer day at work, and I was just... touched by her thoughtfulness. Inspired by real life, you could say.
Especially as it was a drabble, I didn't have time to develop staggering emotions; not between those two. So the soft-sweet stepped in. I'm glad you liked it.
